Due to the current outbreak, you may find yourself at home alone with your furry, non-corona-carrying friends to keep you company. There may be no better time than now to perfect your pet portraiture!

Some tips to get your pets on your side:

  • Have bribery tools handy. Miley’s favorites are pita bread and sugar packets. Move your treats to direct your pet’s eyes, directly at the camera isn’t always the most interesting shot!

  • Incorporate your pet’s favorite people! Your dog will be more willing to cooperate with family around. Plus, it often leads to a sweeter image.

  • Lastly, be patient and work in your pet’s environment. Syrah is a herding dog by nature. She does best outside, and this picture had to be taken between serious frisbee throws.
