Sony has announced the new 12-24mm f/2.8 G Master lens for Sony FE full frame mirrorless cameras.
The 12-24mm f/2.8 GM claims the widest field of view with an f/2.8 aperture on the market.
Featuring XA (extreme aspherical) elements, ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements plus two Super ED glass elements, a constant 11” minimum focusing distance throughout the zoom range, 9-blade circular aperture, four original high-speed, high-thrust XD (extreme dynamic) Linear Motors for AF, this looks to be a very good performer with minimal aberrations, fast AF and good bokeh.
The FE 12-24mm F2.8 GM is available in August 2020 for a suggested retail price of $2,999.99 USD
